Okay so technically I’m posting this around 12:02am on Tuesday, but I think that still counts as Monday for the purposes of Monday’s Muse, don’t you?
So here’s the inspirational tidbit for this Monday:
John Williams. Specifically, the ‘Harry Potter’ soundtrack
I’ve been listening to it a bit lately, and I just love the sweeping twists and turns the music takes in the climactic points, but I think the parts I find most inspirational are the soft, ethereal, magical bits – like the very start of the first track: the beautiful Hedwig’s Theme. If you haven’t heard it, listen to it right here:
If you have heard it, and your reaction is anything like mine, you won’t be able to refrain from listening to it again!
Anoher gold star for you, John Williams. Truly music to enchant the listener. Pun intended.
Coming soon, thoughts on two trilogies. The YA Trylle Trilogy by Amanda Hocking, and that one everyone’s talking about, Fifty Shades, which I’ve finally capitulated and had a look at, to see what all the chatter is about and more importantly … whether it’s justified (short answer, ‘no’, but more on that anon).
